Coyotes Lacrosse is a high school lacrosse team based at Monarch High School that combines the talent of student-athletes from three different high schools in the northern area. The team has made the CHSAA Playoffs 12 out of the last 13 years, making an appearance in the elite 8 in 2015 and 2012 and winning the 2012 Northern League Title. We are looking forward to continuing our success both on and off the field. We are most proud of the way our young men conduct themselves on and off the field.
The program began in the spring of 2001 as the Coyotes started with a freshman program. Students from Centaurus, Broomfield, and Monarch made up the inaugural year. The following year the Coyotes played at the varsity level as the district split the Boulder Valley Team and formed Monarch, Fairview, and Boulder.
We currently combine players from Monarch, Broomfield and Centaurus.
We are a CHSAA-santioned sport with three teams (Varsity, JV, C Team) that compete in the Northern League.
Our home field is at Monarch High School. The spring season officially begins at the end of February.
